pubbas AB (“Pubbas”, “we”, “us”)

1. Who we are

pubbas AB develops audio plug-ins and related software. We are registered in Sweden.

2. What data we collect

  • Account details – your name, email address, encrypted password hash, and email verification status when you create a Pubbas account.
  • Purchase and entitlement data – purchase status, amount/currency, provider references, and related timestamps used to unlock access and manage support.
  • License management data – license keys created for your account, machine hash, activation/revocation status, and timestamps.
  • Payment checkout metadata – limited identifiers needed to complete orders (for example user id and product) and references from payment providers.
  • Basic usage analytics (non-personalised) – page views, IP-derived region, browser type (server logs only).

3. How we use your data

  • Create and secure your account, including login and email verification.
  • Process purchases and grant product access.
  • Issue, validate, and revoke machine-bound licenses.
  • Send transactional emails.
  • Share product news & promotions.
  • Maintain site security and understand anonymous performance.

4. Legal basis

We process account, purchase, and licensing data to perform our contract with you (provide product access and license management), maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Marketing messages are sent based on consent where required.

5. Retention

Account, purchase, entitlement, and license records are retained while your account is active and for a limited period after closure to support legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and customer-support requirements. Opt-in marketing email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Sharing

We never sell your data. We only share data with providers required to run Pubbas, such as hosting/infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processing services. We do not use cookies.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data and withdraw consent at any time.
